The bus was packed and AC did not work well. Very uncomfortable trip. The guide was not very good.. like it was her first or second time. The falls were okay but very crowded.

The Rhine Falls are one of Switzerland's most popular tourist destinations and can get very busy during the summer holidays, especially on a hot day like your travel day. All our buses are comfortable travel coaches with air-conditioning, but we do understand that it can get quite warm in a fully occupied bus. Unfortunately, it is forbidden by law to run the engine, and thus the air conditioning, while the bus is stationary. This also means that the bus inevitably warms up during the stop at the Rhine Falls and in Stein am Rhein. We regret to hear that your tour guide could not make up for the shortcomings and will certainly follow up on your feedback with her. While she has only joined us this season, we are positive that your feedback will help her improve her services and therefore highly appreciate your review. We hope that you still enjoyed a wonderful stay in Zurich and hope that you will give us a second chance to convince you of our high-quality standards during your next visit to Switzerland! Great view of the Falls and countryside

The Rhine Falls are amazing. We went on the additional boat ride to the foot of the falls and that was even more incredible. The walk back up was very challenging but well worth the trip. The visit to Stein am Rheim was lovely. It was a quaint small town with lots of history, shops, and natural beauty. The trip was longer than I expected, but we saw so much of the beautiful countryside.

Both locations are beautiful, though the time is very much limited. Don't expect to have time for lunch, better to get some snacks/drinks to have on the go. Otherwise, very nice tour. Thanks to our guide and organizers!

We are sorry to hear that the service provided by your tour guide did not meet your expectations. We would have loved to discuss your feedback with your tour guide, but unfortunately, we couldn’t identify him/her without your exact travel date. Since this tour starts at 13:15, we do not dedicate any time for lunch at the Rhine Falls. However, there is a kiosk at the entrance where guests can buy snacks and drinks at their own expense. Depending on traffic conditions, we also include a 1 hour stop in Stein am Rhein. While the first half is spent on a guided walking tour of the Old Town, our guests spend the second half at leisure. Unfortunately, we are not entirely clear why you were denied both opportunities, but we understand that it is a long afternoon if you have indeed not taken any breaks. This was a breathtaking tour! The tour guide was wonderful. Paying the extra 10 francs for the boat ride at Rhine Falls is definitely worth it, just be aware there are a good number of steps to get to the boat. The little town was also very cute and had some excellent gelato.

Our guide Ante was very professional and gave us lot of information about Switzerland, the Rhine river and waterfalls, Stein am Rhein and much more. I was expecting the waterfall to be higher and was a bit disappointed, but that's on me, they were still very impressive. Steim am Rhein is a lovely town, truely worth visiting.

Stein am Rheine was a stunning medieval town that reminded me a lot of Bamberg. Loved the cute character cafes . Grab a coffee and get lost in your thoughts by river Rhein which is a few steps away from the town. The waterfalls were gorgeous too. I recommend hiking up to see the river and the origin of the waterfalls. Loved that view more than the waterfall itself.

Not at worth it. Up tight tour guide. Felt like a Schmidt. Boat trip should have been included. Felt like the tour guide made $ on selling it. No time to see the castle. Definitely don’t go on a weekend. Falls was nice but the short time on and off boat not worth a day and time on bus.

We fully agree that including the boat ride in the tour price would be a nice add-on for the tour. Yet, it is only running from April to October, while our tours operate all year round. As we also cannot guarantee access for guests with limited mobility, we refrain from including the boat trip in the tour. This allows our guests to spend the limited time at the Rhine Falls with activities of their choice: they can either visit the medieval Laufen Castle or take an optional boat ride in the Rhine basin. To give our guests the opportunity to experience the falls from up close, we charter a boat exclusively for our group. Since many guests remember the boat ride as the highlight of their visit, the tour guide acted in your best interest when trying to sell you the tickets. Nevertheless, we are sorry to hear that it came across as if he wanted to fill his own pockets and will gladly pass on your feedback as a suggestion for improvement. Since your visit fell exactly on a weekend during spring break, we can very well imagine that there were many other visitors. What a great time. Our guide, Verena, was excellent. She had a very upbeat personality and made the trip very interesting. Rhein falls, including the boat ride, we’re spectacular. Great pictures with the falls as the back drop. The town of Stein am Rhein was right out of a storybook. Quite beautiful! I highly recommend this excursion.
