The lakes and falls were beautiful. Our guide, Marco, did a good job navigating us through the large crowds. The lunch was very good (but around 2pm). there is a stop around 12:00 where you can grab a dink and snack if you like.
Just beautiful!!!

Marcos was an excellent tour guide, the lakes are beautiful, and the experience exceeded expectations. Fully recommend this day trip.
Absolutely stunning!

Swift pick up - tour to Rastoke was amazing and well worth doing. Arrived at the lakes at 11am. Tour guide Marco was exceptional in keeping us informed and cutting out all unnecessary walking / longer routes. Boat and coach trip to top of mountains included. Lunch (dinner) at a local restaurant could have been a little earlier or another option chosen, so I would definitely take snacks especially if you are diabetic or have kids. One of the best experiences of my life.

I heard so many good things about the Plitvice Lakes. Nothing is compared to the real thing. The tour made it so easy for me; drove me and got the best route to see them all. I still can't shut my eyes from such a beauty. I will a life time greateful for the experience. Do not wait for anything, just do it and you will know what my words mean.
Highly recommended!

The park is breathtaking (I have visited it on a cloudy, almost rainy weather, but still worth seeing it). The tour guide is great!
Nirvana for waterfall and nature lovers.

Rastoke is a beautiful introduction to the rest of the day: a picture perfect town full of waterfalls. Plitvice National Park is an astounding display of nature at its best, with waterfalls, cascades, lakes, forests, flowers and wildlife. A tram ride and boat trip make the 5 km walk that much more enjoyable. The guide maintains an easy pace with lots of interesting commentary. Crowds were not an issue in May and the weather was great.
Tour was very good

I would recommend this tour, it was an easy way to see the lakes from Zagreb. NB: The lakes are worth seeing but are extremely busy.
, Nov 2019
The tour guide was on time and the vehicle was comfortable. It was worth what we paid for. Included the hike throughout the lake and a boat ride as well. A great excursion well planned. We were dropped off to where we were picked up from. We really enjoyed.
Must do if visiting Croatia

Great trip. Our guide was Marko. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Croatia and the national park. A trip is not complete without this tour. For $100 this is a no brainer.
Nice tour

The lakes were beautiful and our guide, Markus, was great. Beware that there is quite a lot of walking on uneven ground. The pace is slow and plenty of time to see the beautiful landscapes, but wear sturdy shoes. If you enjoy nature, this tour is a must,

Spectacular waterfalls, great tour guide, nice restaurant

Excursion from Zagreb 30 Sept. Sunny and cool day, two hour journey with useful break at rest area WC in 16 passenger Mercedes shuttle bus. Guide Marko was awesome describing history, geography, geology, ecology and Croatian culture. Rastoke was a beautiful village where rivers converged - the short riverwalk showcased multiple small waterfalls in a charming setting with a WC at the end. Marko continued his captivating narrative as we headed into the mountains and answered myriad questions with patience and amusing stories. Marko handled our group tickets and herded us to a park bus which took us to the top of the park. During the walk around the lakes, Marko stopped periodically to share more details of what we were seeing. The path was crowded but the descent from the upper lakes to lower was manageable- about three hours of walking, not hiking. Marko frequently offered to take pictures of us rather than selfies. The bus met us at the terminus after the visit to the WC again. After leaving the park we drove to a roadside restaurant and Marko recommended traditional menu choices and local beer. The prices were modest. After dinner, some on the tour changed vehicles to a tour bus heading to Split, we returned to Zagreb tired but pleased by a dynamic tour guide Marko and the fair weather. Our gratuity to him was well-deserved.
A wonderful place to discover !

If Disney made national parks..
, Aug 2019
I could make this review really short, and say that Plitvice is stunning, and well worth a visit. It is, and it is. But that would be selling it short. It's more a kind of stunningly beautiful that verges on a word that I detest due to overuse. That word is awesome. It's almost too beautiful to accept that it's natural, hence the Disney title. But unlike anything touched by the House of Mouse it is totally non artificial, nature at her jaw dropping best. It could be that we got it on a good day, certainly the sun was shining and the water was more shades of blue and green than I think I was aware existed hitherto this trip. Look... I'll spare you further hyperbole, just go. You'll likely be glad you did. Special mention to Marko, our guide, who despite doing this every day still managed to be engaging, informative and still retained an attitude that didn't make you think he was bored with the whole thing. Restaurant lunch stop... meh. Really wasn't anything special, some poor sheep died to provide a decidedly lacklustre meal. But overall, whose caring? If you're going for natural beauty, then that's what you'll get. Enjoy.
Good but hurried Visit to the lakes
, Aug 2019
The trip was well organised and the tour guide Marinko was very good and patient and asnswered all our questions. The lakes and park were amazing. The only comment we have is that it was a rushed trip and we felt there was no time to sit and enjoy the scenery of the place, we had to keep walking to keep up with the group
It could have been much better, should the guide have had a different attitude!
, Jul 2019
Unfortunately, left Plitvice with a bad taste in my mouth because we skipped the most important attractions and this was due to the fact that the guide did not want to go on. Though it is true that it rained quite a lot, I took the time to do this excursion despite the weather forecast. If the rain was an issue, then the excursion should not have taken place. I would not recommend it. I feel like I wasted my money.
icon Response from Host , Jul 2019
We are very sorry to hear that our tour left a bad taste in your mouth. However, please rest assured that on the day of your tour, our tour guide provided a sightseeing tour of the whole park area, both the Upper and Lower lakes, 16 in total. Beside the boat ride which is very uncomfortable when its raining, we did not miss anything. Please consider that the walking pace of the whole group might be faster as it was pouring down, so maybe you got the impression that we skipped something as we exited the park earlier, but this was not the case. One needs to keep in mind that the walking route can be adjusted to the conditions in the park but we do our best to provide the tour our guests have booked and paid for according to the plan.
A stunning day out at the Plitvice Lakes
, Jul 2019
The day ran so smoothly. We had an amazing informative guide who took us on the trip. The trip was really worthwhile. Beautiful lakes (out of this world in fact), beautiful lunch, our guide knew ways of beating the crowds, all in all a really good day and highly recommended.
