The gondola ride began at 8:00 (20:00) so the sun was going down. It was pretty to see Venice from the water at night. We traveled along the less busy channels which was perfect. It was very relaxing.

Absolutely the worst experience. First, this gondola leaves from the worst part of Venice. It is in a horrible area with absolutely nothing of substance to see. The guide was on his cell phone the entire time. It was so difficult to find the boat on top of everything else. It is way out of the way - not near any well known areas. I intentionally booked the trip at sunset for the lighting. The canals we went down were dark and ugly. Stay away from this tour!!!
