Your tour from Venice to Murano, Torcello, and Burano begins as you board your motorboat and set off across the Venetian Lagoon to your first stop, the island of Murano, which is actually several small isles dissected by a wide canal. Disembark the boat to walk around Murano with your guide.

Visit a glass factory, where you watch a glassblower creating beautiful pieces of glassware, a Murano tradition that dates back to 1291. Hear a bit about the island’s history from your guide, who tells you about Murano’s prosperity in the 1400s and 1500s, when it was the center of glassmaking in Europe. Then go admire other sights like churches decorated with mosaics and other ornamental details.

Next, visit Torcello, an island established between the 5th and 6th centuries, to see its ornate palaces and churches. Highlights include the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, founded in the 7th century, and the excavated remnants of the baptistery in the Church of Santa Fosca. Then head to your third stop, Burano, an island known for its lace production, which dates back to the 16th century and was once the best in Europe. While you visit local shops and a museum to admire high-end lace on display, admire the island’s brightly-colored fishermen’s houses.

Your tour then ends with the return boat ride to Venice.

Too much to see in short time given

Too little of time given to explore the island Torcello island is the most beautiful of all three only 40 minutes was given. Had I known that I would simply take a boat ride and take my time to explore the island.

The islands are beautiful. The trip was nice, but a bit too hasty on the islands. Next time we would probably choose the whole day trip to enjoy the islands for a longer time.

Honestly, Burano and Murano (the glass factory) are the only places I liked. Torcello just has a very old cathedral. If you enjoy that you’ll enjoy it. Burano is very cute and worth a day trip on its own. If I had more days, I would have stayed in Burano for a couple of them. The guides were great. You get 45 min to an hr in each location.

Do not book this trip. I was 20 minutes early at the location advised and waited and looked for a guide. There was no guide at all. I asked everyone if they were the guide but still no guide. The information provided by the tour was inadequate in every way. The boat I was supposed to be on departed without me. I asked for an explanation and a refund and received no response. Highly Recommend using any tour except this one. It was very disappointing as I was very keen to see Murano and Burano with my granddaughter who is 13.

We had an amazing time on this tour... so much to see! The crew was great... informative, and very pleasant. The glass factory was also awesome to see in action. I recommend this tour emphatically to anyone visiting Venice.

Murano and Burano were great. The in person demonstration of glass blowing was really nice to see up close (this was in Murano) Burano was so lovely, wish we would have had more time there!! I think we could have skipped Torcello. There wasn't much to see or do there.

The Guide was very informative and the Islands were great to visit from seeing glass blowing to the colourful houses and the lace making. I visited the youngest lacemaker on Burano and she was a wonderful person and loved watching her demonstrate her latest work

They basically just boat you around the three Island. There's some explanation till you get to each Island, but once you're there you're pretty much on your own without and guide or explanation about the place. You can get the same service, more or less, using the water bus service at a considerably lower cost.

We had a little difficulty finding the ticket booth because all the street vendors told us it is by the “alley”. So we looked and looked for an alley Until we realized they meant by “illey “ the restaurant. The ticket booth was by the booth selling tickets for other boat rides.

The best part of the tour was the glass blowing demonstration. We wish we had more time in each location, it would have been nice to have time to grab a bite to eat.

Overall the day started lackluster, loads of LOUD americans. Boat ride with decent albeit marginally disinterested guide to murano, ok glass making, have seen much better but ok nevertheless. Followed up by Tercello very tranquil and lovely place. And finally burano, such a quaint and cool place, worth the visit. Lace, shops, cafes and all. Trip DOES NOT have enough time between stops, as in probably half the time you'd need for a leisurely stroll.

Amazing islands that are a must to see when in Venice. The Murano glass factory was beautiful. The quaint and colorful town of Burano was a bustling stop filled with restaurants and adorable shops. Torcello was a throwback to history.

We paid in full in advance for this tour. I should’ve read more of the reviews before doing so. We get the instructions on where to meet emailed to us the day before the tour. We arrived at the said location 30 minutes before the tour begins. There is no signage anywhere saying where to go. We start asking around and no one has any clue what we are talking about. Finally, we find a small 6 inch sign on the side of a street vendor cart. When we ask her, she has no clue and sends us walking in the other direction for 15 minutes till we find another street vendor with a similar 6 inch sign. They have no clue what we are talking about either. We tried calling the number on the reservation a few times, only to have it ring endlessly. After another 20 minutes of walking around aimlessly we found a 3rd vendor with yet another 6 inch sign. Needless to say they had no clue what was going on either. So we never got to go on the tour and am now out the costs. If I could give a zero star review I would

The instructions on how to redeem tickets were totally wrong. Says to go to Giardini Ex Reali, 30124, Venezia. That was not it. There was no one from Viator. Called their number twice no one picked up. We ended up missing the boat. By the way, this is not a guide tour.. basically just ferry tickets to three islands and you are on your own.

This is a great way to see the 3 islands. Our guide was informative and interesting but not enough time to really wander. If you’re short on time in Venice this would be the tour to take.
