This was a great trip that took us all around Salzburg and to the lake region. We got to see where key shots were taken during the movie. Our guide was great and provided a lot of insight into the making of the movie!

The tour guide was very sweet and did share some interesting insights into the filming of the story. Not enough substance for the length and cost of tour.

Absolutely amazing tour. Was actually sceptical to purchase a tour but it was the best thing I ever did. Our tour guide Michelle was an absolute joy to have. She was lively and her love for the movie was just so tangible. Had the best apple strudel too as recommended by her. I would really recommend fans to take this tour but actually even the people who haven't watched it. There's beautiful scenery too see and you get to learn why we crazy sound of music fans exist 😅

Birgit was a fabulous host and gave us lots of information about the movie and the city. She had a positive upbeat attitude even we encountered traffic. Thanks for a great tour!

I am very happy that my daughter talked me into going on this tour. I remember the movie from my time at the drive-ins as a youngster, and also watching it at home when I was older. The tour was fantastic and the fact that there were only eight of us, made it even better. Our guide, Antonio, was amazing!! He knew so much about the history of the Von Trapp family, the movie and even some extra tidbits. And Antonio enjoyed singing along with the rest of us. The weather was perfect (for a Californian º89) and the drive was very nice. If you remember the movie you should definitely take this tour. If you don't know the movie, watch it, and then take the tour.

Very knowledgable guide. Just wish we could have got nearer to places but they are privately owned so not possible. Great tour of Saltzburg though

My favorite things
Sarah

Tour guide was great. It was great so see the sites but wish that we were able to see some of them more closely. Not the tour group's fault. Some of the buildings are privately owned. I loved being in the van with all the super fans and singing all the songs. It was super cheesy but that's what I wanted! I didn't realize that we would leave Salzburg and get to travel up in the mountains. This was a great way to see a little of the surrounding area as well as see Sound of Music sights.
