Meet your guide at the back of the Pantheon. Once arrived to the square and facing at the Pantheon, beside on the right of the monument, there is a street called VIA DELLA ROTONDA. Take that street and on the left side is VIA DELLA PALOMBELLA where your guide will be waiting holding " MEA TOURS".

Avoid MEA tours!!!

I purchased this tour for my mother and son and I to visit these amazing sights in Rome. I chose 9am because my mother can’t be in the heat for a long time. We arrived at the tour meeting sight at 8.30am. We waited for 45 minutes with a large group of people that had also purchased tickets for this tour. I communicated via the Viator website, asking where our tour guide was. I received a call at 9.16am saying the tour time AND starting place had changed. I was told to take a taxi to the Arch of Constantine and that I would be reimbursed for that taxi ride I took a taxi (I paid €10.90) and there I met the rest of the people that had been waiting at the original meeting spot. We had to wait for the tour guide. Everyone was then told that our tickets did NOT include entrance to the Colosseum, when our email confirmation clearly states that entrance fees are included. Everyone was upset, and tried to speak with the tour company to complain. We paid an extra €56 for entrance fees. THEN the tickets our guide had for the colosseum entrance didn’t work. At 11am, we had still not entered the colosseum. Our tour had not started, TWO HOURS after the start time I had paid for. My mom and my son were very uncomfortable in the heat. So we returned our radios to the guide and returned to our hotel. I haven't been able to get a refund yet. Avoid MEA tours at all costs!!

Erturk was AMAZING.. I genuinely admire his patience and his character, we had a really rude/annoying individual; Well several couples in our group but this one particularly kept cutting him off, and making a scene. Erturk was so nice the entire time even though she did not deserve it and personally I would’ve kicked her out of the tour if it were me. He made sure the rest of the group was okay, and he was very tentative. He kept asking if we were okay and understanding everything he was speaking to us about. I absolutely LOVED that he gave us a visual of what the forum used to look like and how it looks now. He was very knowledgeable and overall a great tour guide. When I come back to Rome, I hope to get him again as a tour guide

The tour was called skip the lines - not sure what lines we skipped because the tour did not include admission to the Coliseum and Pantheon. The day before the tour we received an email changing the time from 9am to 3pm. Had to adjust our schedule, which we did. Upon arriving at the tour starting location, we were told that we were not on the list. The guide had to place a call to his manager, and then informed me it would cost an additional 45 Euros. I spoke to the manager and after a discussion, we did not have to pay the additional amount. Basically all the tour consisted of was walking from one point to another, with a limited narrative via the headset. Another disappointing part was we did not walk down the main roadways, mostly down alley's which really limited the viewing of historical monuments. Overall it was a huge disappointment.

She was very knowledgeable on the subject matter and pointed out all details of the building, art work and especially the subject matter as to the elevation of the original buildings built when the Pantheon was constructed. She added a church that had magnificent ceiling artwork that was not listed on the tour which was priceless. The Forum and Collisium information was very impeccable

Despite the company having issues with my ticket, the tour guide, Erturk, was excellent. As I did not have phone service, he helped me resolve my ticket issue and made sure I was on the tour. If you have any say in your tour guide, I would HIGHLY recommend Erturk. He is very knowledgeable--has an engineering degree--and is very passionate about Rome, it's history, and the buildings within.

Terrible experience!!!! We showed up and the tour guide told us the tour was cancelled. It was too late to schedule another tour for the day (everything was booked) and so we left Italy without seeing the sites we wanted to see. It's been over one month and I have not received a refund yet despite constantly trying to contact Viator. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

The tour guide did not show up at the designated place and time. We were one of three or four groups/families that were scheduled together for the tour. Unfortunately, the tour was rescheduled later in the day which was not possible for my family to attend due to other plans/commitments. Very disappointing to say the least. We are still waiting on a full refund .

Absolutely shocking please do not book I paid for a group of 4 adults to do this trip. Paid for a taxi to get to the pick up location to be informed that the tour guide had had a panic attack so the tour was cancelled. I received no communication from the tour operator and I have requested a refund which they are contesting 🙈 furious has really put me off Viator

I was on a cruise. Didn't realize after an almost 2 hr ride, I still had a great distance to travel to Pantheon. Took about 3 hrs in total with no signage to guide your way. I missed the excursion and they wouldn't even refund me. I think it would be helpful to add these details.

The tour guide never showed up and never notified us. Viator eventually agreed to rebook us & everyone that was on this tour later the same day with the same tour guide. I am not feeling confident the guide will show up again. I will post again later with how it turned out.

I never thought booking through Viator would end be being such a terrible experience. When we arrived the tour guide made us pay anothet 22euro per person saying the fees we paid to viator did not include some entrance fees, eventhough it was clearly mentioned in the booking confirmation!!!!!! Calling viator didn’t help at all and we only had to pay this unexpected additional cost otherwise we were not allowed to join. This should have been properly managed between Viator and MEA tours, which are the operators, but they didn’t bother talking to each others… worst experience ever!!! And they made us wait for 45 minutes .
