Poor guide

Guide’s english poor. She started talking before all the tourists could hear her. I was near the back and while tourists wanted to view the rooms on the way it meant that i missed most of her info. It wasnt possible to jump the queue due to the narrow tunnels. I did hear her say she was available for questions but my the time i got out she had gone

The guide was excellent. Courteous and informative. Don't leave Rome without having seen the catacombs.

The history is amazing! I learned so much and the setting is beautiful. It's hard to believe that over 500,000 souls are interred here.

Informative tour and cool experience

We were a little confused showing up as we expected to meet a tour guide and go into together like the other tours. We quickly realised you pop to the ticket desk and the tours are organised through their guides. The tour was very informative, we moved at a good pace. The group wasn't too big. It was very interesting. The remains have been removed from the viewing areas so it's no gruesome. Bring a jacket as you are underground and it can be chilly. I would recommend this tour. The tour guide was very informative and passionate about the subject.

Loved it. Our guide was very good and knew so much of the history. We learned a lot about ancient Christianity and it was fascinating to walk where others walked in the third century.

An interesting tour. Definitely a worthwhile visit when in Rome. About 1 and half mile walk outside city walls or take the 118 bus. Guide provided facts in an engaging way.
