Jungle Buggy Tour from Playa del Carmen Including Cenote Swim

This is the 2nd jungle buggy tour we did while on our holiday in playa del Carmen. We enjoyed the first one so much we decided to try this one too. Wow sorry we did. In comparison this one was absolutely rubbish. The buggy we had was vastly underpowered and had various warning lights lit up not to mention the non existent brakes. The hosts were ok but the girl was uninterested and boring. The snack was a packet of cheap chips. I’d recommend doing your research and trying the other one available in the area that visits the Mayan village. Far better and you get actual food. This was a waste of money.

We had a fantastic excursion with Alexia and Fernando. They’re both great guides, incredibly engaging and give the tour a very intimate feeling! Would highly recommend for anyone considering! It’s an experience to remember!

Alexia and Fernando “The Chosen One” are the most personable, knowledgeable and fun hosts for this tour! With the trails being limestone there is a need for caution around any turns, but there is no reason anyone should flip these vehicles if driving safely. The cenote is refreshing and beautiful! Bring a sandwich from your resort or wherever you are staying to refuel before your trip back. If you have an issue with either of these hosts then the problem likely lies within. Entirely recommending this tour for anyone looking for a laid back trip through the jungle. ❤️❤️❤️

Jorge and Fernando were the best guides. Funny, friendly and knowledgeable. The small group made the tour even better - it was like hanging out with friends!

I have traveled around alot and have gone on quite a few ATV tours. This time we decided to do a buggy tour and I have regrets on so many levels. Although I acknowledge that accidents happen, unfortunately this can't be categorized as such. My 2 teens were driving their own buggy while i drove with my 15 yo. Mid-way, we crossed a juncture where there was pothole, bump and a curved tree.... all a recipe for disaster. My daughter's buggy flipped to the side. Thank God they only had bruises, but emotionally they both were distraught. My 18 yo decided she couldn't drive further. My other 17 yo couldn't drive yet (although the guides said she could). The guide then continued to recap the events of the previous tour...another girl flipped in the same manner and same spot that morning. The guide also acknowledged that this tree needed to be cut down. Then he was pressuring us to go on with the tour when we couldn't. He was more concerned about the buggy, which was broken. We got back to our meeting point 45 min later with my 2 daughters in the trunk and me and my other daughter in front. When we got back, they were focused on fixing the buggy. They did that even before they asked if we were okay. The guide kept saying that it was our fault (which I partly agree and disagree with). Then he said this only happened because both my daughter and the girl from the previous tour drove slowly. If we were going fast then it wouldn't have happened, which is questionable. Then he said we were so close to the cenote but we couldn't go because we changed our mind. But I reminded him that we couldn't continue because the buggy was busted which he ignored. We had to wait another 2 hours for our shuttle to come. Both guides handled the situation very poorly... deflecting responsibility, being insensitive and sexist and laughing the whole thing off. Nobody followed up with us or offered a refund. I would never recommend this third party.

A great experience, both the guides were super friendly and helped us with anything we needed. The cenote was amazing and we were alone in it. A must do if you visit Playa del Carmen.
