Great start, bad ending.

The first part of the trip in Como with our guide was great. Good explanation and stories. The second part is where it begins to go downhill. To begin, the part about the "breathtaking cruise" is actually the slow boat(batallo) that is used to circulate city to city around the lake Como. This means that it will take you about 2h to get to bellaghio and you'll stop about a dozen times. You'll also need to be quick and get to a seat once you get in and, even then, you'll probably have people standing in front of you blocking the view. While you be on the cruise, you can listen to your guide on your audio headset about who owns the villas that you'll see from afar. Once you finally get to Bellagio, there is no tour about the city, only a few pointers about where to eat. The return is quicker on the bus with three quick stops for great viewpoints f of the surrounding cities rom mountain tops.

A bus transported us from Milan to the town of Como, on Lake Como. We arrived mid-morning on a Sunday and our tour guide walked the group around town (about 40 min~) pointing out interesting landmarks. We had free time for our own sightseeing/snack before queuing for the the boat ride from Como to Bellagio. The boat was like a ferry, we sat inside, the lake was much larger than I realized and it was at least 2 hours until arriving at Bellagio. The tour guide pointed out landmarks along the lake and we enjoyed a beer from the ferry cafe. On arriving in Bellagio, we had over an hour free time for lunch and shopping. We were there in mid-July and the lake area was sweltering hot, the heat was too much be able to enjoy the area. We boarded a different/smaller bus and headed back to Milan with one more quick stop at a bicycle museum in a small town outside of Bellagio, beautiful views and a little cooler!! Most of the time was spent in transit, which is not a repeat for us. Highlights: breakfast pastries in Como, lunch in Bellagio both meals were top notch!

We had a very nice experience! Lake Como is a beautiful place to see. Our guide Simons and driver Dino were very good. The only thing was microphone was not working well but otherwise, we highly recommend this tour.

It will s not a cruise. It is a ferry. The boat was extremely crowded and everyone stood up and blocked the views. Getting onto the boat was even worse.

Dear Darush, the Tour Leader suggested you to sit with the rest of the group at the deck one in order to let you join the cruise with airconditioned and a better view on the best side of the boat, but you preferred to go on the upper deck that was already full, hot and crowded. Then you probably decided to go back inside too late when the deck one was already full. We are sorry that you couldn't enjoy the cruise but it was your choice. Best Regards Davide

It was really hard finding which bus and all. The location for pick up is at a park where all tours go. The sketchy thing was the tour guide tells you that you only need to wear the mask on transportation if you see the police. Like what? So no one wore a mask on the drive. You only get 40 minutes to explore the town of como before entering the ferry. You get an hour to walk Bellagio before taking the ferry over to the bus.

Great day trip to Lake Como. Our guide Andrea was very knowledgable and helpful, providing great explanation of the sights and gave good lunch recommendations. The tour around the Lake Como city was insightful. However, the time spent at Belligio was a tad disappointing. The bus was clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a good trip and day spent at Lake Como.

Tour guide arrived 45 minutes late!

Tour scheduled for 8:30 am started at 9:15 am because the tour guide arrived late. To make matters worse, the tour was supposed to end at 7 pm and it ended at 6:30 pm which means we were cheated out of 45 minutes at the beginning and out of another 30 minutes at the end. Sloppy organization.

The trip was great. Our guide was very nice and tried to give as many i information as she could. She talked in english, but took the time to translate for some other spanish people who didn't speak english. The city of Como was not really spectacular, you can walk around for like an hour to feel the city's vibe. The main atraction was the feriboat ride. The sights were absolutelly amazing, one of the most beautiful i've ever seen. The bellagio city was just as beautiful (also, best icecream i've ever tasted). Everyting else is just not important, the sights alone are worth all the money

This area is a must see! It is absolutely beautiful. We had a little trouble with the location of departure due to an old email. Como and Bellagio are beautiful and the boat ride stunning. We received a lot of great information from our tour guide but would have appreciated a little more insight on the area during our bus ride. Our tour guide did an excellent job getting us to the boat in time to recommend the best seats for viewing which was wonderful. The accommodations were great and the driver was too. We appreciated the ride back through the mountains with a stop to enjoy the magnificent view from high above Lake Como!!

Absolutely stunning scenery on par with Positano and Amalfi Coast. Went on a beautiful sunny day. Honestly a complete waste of time and money on an overcast or rainy day. Be aware this tour is done entirely on public transportation. A public train takes you from Milan to Como and with stops takes 1 hour. Then you hop on a public Lake Como ferry which takes a 2 hour tour of Lake Como stopping often at pick up points until it reaches Bellagio. You stay in Bellagio on your own for 2 hours where you can walk around and can have a leisurely lunch on your own. Then you take a regular everyday public bus for 1 hour back to Como. If bus has no seats left, then you stand for the hour. No private tour bus. The lack of that privacy means tour guide doesnt get to say much - ours certainly didnt. No Lecco due to time of year. Returning to Como did a short walking tour, then tour guide put us back on train to Milan. Tour guide remained in Como. Hope you understand we thoroughly enjoyed the scenery despite the shortcomings of transportation modes and tour guides minimal input. On a bright sunny day Lake Como made up for any shortcomings. Take the tour keeping my observations in mind. But do take it as the views, towns, mountains and scenery are breathtaking.

This was one of my favorite things I did in Italy. Lake Como is breath taking. The guide was informative but we had a lot of free time to wonder around Lake Como and Ballagio on our own which is nice. It can be cool on the water so I would definitely recommend some kind of sweater or like jacket if you are not there in the summer months.

The weather was misty and rainy on the day of our tour, but our guide, a young man named Davide, was such a spectacular leader that he rescued the whole event with his humor, efficiency and knowledge of the area. He pointed out George Clooney's villa, and Richard Branson's compound, and told us the history of the sites we passed on the cruise. When we stopped in the lovely town of Bellagio, he walked us to places for lunch and gave us ample time to enjoy it. We had time to shop, and Davide was considerate of those of us who were handicapped, too. A plus was that his English was excellent.
