Disorganized, Disappointed and Doubt We'd Use Viator Again

Booking was a mess. Originally booked 4 people for the Duomo w Rooftop and LaScala Opera House for 9:30 AM. Got an email confirming this tour. Arrived at the meeting point and no one was there. Called the number and was informed the tour was cancelled because there was not enough people interested. Rescheduled for 2:30 that afternoon. At lunch we got phone call telling us the tour was cancelled again, because the Opera House was closed! Offered us a 4:30 tour of the Duomo and a credit for the Ooera House portion, which we agreed to. The day was blown, the heat was intense and the crowds made for an unpleasant experience. The tour guide was nice enough, knowledgeable and friendly. The pace was too quick. Some individuals had a hard time maneuvering through the crowds, climbing the steps and keeping up with the group. Should have bailed after the first cancellation. Chose the early tour to avoid the crowds and the heat. If I had to do it again I would book a private tour, pay the extra money and have better memories of our day spent in Milan.
