After meeting your guide, get a brief safety instructional and then hop on your bike and start sightseeing in Milan. Stop for photos along the way and learn about the history of each place you visit. Choose between a morning, afternoon or evening tour.

Morning or Afternoon Tour (3.5 hours):

Start by cycling through the downtown streets of Milan, pedaling around the city's glamorous parts of town. Cruise by verdant gardens in Palestro and drink in the chic vibe of the Manzoni district with its luxurious buildings and headquarters of the world's leading fashion houses. Stop for a breather at Piazza della Scala to take in the famed opera house, Teatro La Scala, and learn about the great singers and conductors who have performed there.

Then pedal on to Brera, its streets flanked by historic houses and churches, and marvel at the imposing Sforza Castle, a fortress from the late medieval and Renaissance era. Learn about the history of the structure and how it was built for the first duke of Milan in the 14th-century.

Other stops include the trendy Ticinese district and Colonne di San Lorenzo, the oldest Roman ruins in Milan. Before finishing the tour, stop at the famed Duomo, Milan's glorious Gothic cathedral, and learn about the building's history.

Evening Tour (3 hours):

Take the evening tour and be prepared to be dazzled by the twinkling lights and lit-up landmarks of Milan. Marvel at the Duomo and the intimidating Sforza Castle. See all the spots that are on the morning and afternoon tours, such as Palazzo Regione Lombardia, Piazza Gae Aulenti, Brera and Piazza della Scala.

After that, hit some of the city's must-see sites, including the Duomo, the city's marvelous cathedral.

Dear Laura, thank you very much for joining us in Milan and for sharing your experience with other travellers! We are very happy that you enjoyed our bike tour experience and had a great overview of Milan, both main streets/sights and backroads and hidden gems! Helmets are always available in our office generally speaking very few people want it so sometimes we are not preparing the bikes with the helmets, but we have 50 helmets ready to be used for those who want them :) Thanks again and we truly hope to have you with us again in the future! My wife and I had a great time on this tour. Our guide Paolo (or Paulo?) Did a wonderful job showing us around Milan, giving great insights to both the popular attractions (Duomo, la Scala) as well as other things you'd casually miss as a tourist. Definitely recommend !

Mialn is very busy, so sometimes this bike ride can be a little harried. Overall, it is very fun. WE had a really bice tour guide. I had already been in Milan for three weeks and done many tours, but I still saw more, doifferent neighborhoods, etc. I recommend. Not physically challenging, but a nice litle bit of exercise.

Biking Milano

Fun and fascinating tour of some historical and architectural highlights in Milan. 3.5hrs went by in a flash. Would have loved a full day tour to see more neighborhoods. Really liked our guide. Gave us some excellent tips on areas to visit without trying to shill for merchants (and getting a kickback).

Half a day (biking) in Milan

This is a great activity and an excellent way to have an idea about Milan. If you take he morning tour then you can walk (15 minutes) to the Duomo and maybe shopping in Buenos Aires section. We got lucky as Milan literally stops during mid August and there is little to no traffic. Robert did an excellent job in his calmed style and by sharing the right amount of information. My wife and I had a great time and we highly recommend the tour

My 2 friends and I had a great time with Paulo on our tour of Milan. He was informative and took us to all the sites we should see such as The Duomo, the Castle, Sports Stadium and up to the new city and the vertical forest which is amazing! He made the tour very enjoyable and I would highly recommend it. Thanks, Paul C.

A great way to see Milan

The bike tour covered a number of areas of the city and took in the major sites. This is a great way to get a feel for the city so you can go back and explore particular sites, like the Duomo and La Scala, which I did later in the day. Our guide was enthusiastic about the history of Milan and very knowledgeable.

Milan has many interesting sites to visit and it is relatively easy and safe to navigate by bike. So, I would consider this an ideal way to learn and exercise. There were only 4 of us so it was almost a Private Tour. Our guide was well knowledgeable of the terrain and route. History was adequate. Recommend.

We spent an enjoyable 3 hours cycling around Milan. It was a good way to learn about the city and the places we wanted to go back to and explore on foot. The guide we had was great, he had studied art history at University and was very knowledgeable about the history of Milan. A really good morning thank you!

Likely the best way to see Milan! The tour allows you to see many locations to give you a more complete appreciation of the city. One note of caution: adults in Milan rarely wear helmets, so either bring your own helmet or prepare to wear a vintage style.

This was not worth the money. The guide was like a talking book and gave us no time for taking pictures. It was all details and lecture. Couldn't wait to be done with it so we could explore on our own.

We got lost on the way to the meeting point, tried calling the number 10 minutes prior to the start time of the tour but there was no answer. We arrived 15 minutes late and as we expected there was no one at the meeting point. Called the contact number again and this time the call was answered, I asked if we could catch up to the tour group but was advised no and that they had tried to call my mobile - I had no missed calls. They agreed to let us transfer to another day and would send available times to my mobile number ... no message was received as advised. We understand that it was our fault for being late however disappointed we missed the tour and even more disappointed with the customer service provided. We always use Viator for our tours but if this is how your local providers treat regular customers we will have to think twice before making further bookings.

This tour was a great way to see a lot more of Milan than a walking tour. I would certainly recommend it. We did almost miss the tour though because we didn't realize that the meeting spot was with our guide on the corner of a street from where he then took us to the shop to get our bikes. We had thought we were given the address of the bike shop and spent about 15 minutes looking for the shop before we noticed our guide on the street corner. Once we found him though, he did a wonderful job of showing us Milan

The guide was terrible. She had no communication skills. Ignored everyone else. 2 guests fell from the bike and the guide was not even aware. Been these tours all around the world but this one with Italian guide (with a terrible English accent) was the worst. Milan is a beautiful city though.
