We did Majo's walking tour on our first day there, which turned out to be a wonderful introduction to Madrid. The experience left us with a deeper appreciation and understanding of the history, culture, and gastronomy of Madrid. We found the tour to be excellent value for money and time well spent. This tour was made even more enjoyable by her enthusiastic storytelling. We never wanted it to end. She also gave us detailed recommendations on the best places to visit, eat and relax. Maria was really knowledgeable, helpful and spoke perfect English. The tour included a great mix of historical setting, anecdotes and hidden gems. We had a well timed stop for a coffee at the Miguel market. Maria was very kind to recommend several restaurants and shops. I wish we had asked Maria to guide us around the Prado too. It would have really added to our trip.

Edgard was a phenomenal guide for this trip. His knowledge about Madrid is unprecedented. Highly suggest this tour to anyone who wants to dig in about Madrid’s history. Only drawback was that it was a walking tour and we didn’t realize it when we booked it; both of us have some physical limitations. Edgard was completely in tune with our restrictions and our needs and we rested when needed.

This was a good tour to familiarize ourselves with Madrid on the first day. Our time in Madrid was so limited that we wanted a few more intimate details about things off the beaten path, and Majo delivered just that for us. You can tell she really loved the city and enjoyed her job. It was SUPER hot and she spared us from the 90 degree heat in the end by provided us maps of other great things to see when we were to return to the city. I would recommend this tour.

Victor the tour guide was excellent! He took me to all the important highlights and showed me some great restaurants which I later went back to. He introduced me to really good beer and explained the origins of many words from a historical perspective. He is truly a great guide knowledgeable of Spain’s history He also followed up with me after the tour giving me additional information
