The viator advertisement said it's in English but it's actually bilingual. And that's being charitable, it's more like 80% Spanish and 20% English alternating so it's confusing. I could tell the Spanish sections were longer and not everything was being translated. Not really true to the advertisement.

Awesome tour guide! Learned and saw a lot. Enjoyed the bus ride to see Spain. Tour bus did not have USB plugs or electrical outlets to charge phones. Did not have options to charge in places we visited. Only downside.

This trip may be good for some, but it was not to my liking. First, I wish more time had been spent visiting or at least learning about the aquaducts in Segovia. They were pointed out and told how long, and that was it. The guide was nice but often forgot or limited English translations. I started using Google translate with my headset to get more information. It seemed like the description of sites were mentioned in Spanish and the English translation was the name or item we looked at only. Also, we quickly walked to Avila and had 10 minutes to look around at the entrance of the city. Unless we opted to go completely on our own, we had no time there besides a brisk walk through the city with little description in either language. When given sweet samples at a store, the guide didn't even stay with the group to translate the description the shop worker shared. Overall the guide often walked too quickly because some of the group even got lost because they couldn't keep up. Not worth the money for the tour.

Two towns is too much. The history is awesome but the pace is too fast. No chance for taking pictures. All the tour is around the clock. My recommendation is taking smaller groups and one town per day. It was intense.

We are a family of four and we find that bus tours are an effective way to outsource planning: the coordination of what to see and how much time to spend at any site. We met this tour at the VPT office near the Temple of Debod/Parque de Oeste. The tour was on schedule [9:00am-6:00pm] and the bus was comfortable. We were fortunate to have Aranza was our tour guide. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She explained the history of the sites well, provided cultural insights, and kept us on time. We also appreciated her suggestion for a place to have lunch in Segovia. We recommend this tour if you are interested in visiting sights close to Madrid.

I loved both of these cities. It was a pleasure joining this tour. The bus was comfortable and the guide was knowledgeable when it came to the history of these UNESCO world heritage sites. We would have enjoyed more if we were able to climb the walls of Avila or the aqueducts of Segovia but all in all we had a good time.

This is a second try that I used aviator and had bad experience. They are resellers of the tours and carry no guarantees about the quality of the information you receive or even guides excitement to spend time with you. Use locals!!!! They work for tips and will go out if their way to please you. This tour was booked for English guide and somehow they moved us together withn another group that spoke only Spanish. The guide (being native) of course preferred to speak in Spanish.. the entire tour we waited after each and every line title presentation for him to translate to us. Needless to say , my teenagers lost their interest and wanted to do nothing with him. When I asked why we are listening in Spanish all the time and waiting for quick Englishvtranslation the guide could not explain. Victor is expensive and reselling tours. Rent a car.. it’s easy and convenient. Get guides in the cities where you want to go. You will not be rushed and get to enjoy local restaurants, shops and see/hear about everything as well. I am done with Viator!!!!

Just a lovely fun guide on the trip Avila was ok but Segovia v pretty Guide was informative without getting too much into details! It was bilingual so sometimes that is hard as the switch on and off from English to Spanish can be a bit bothersome I hoped it was just English but nonetheless it was a good trip We had a little glitch at the beginning due to a marathon that the compnay probably did not take into account but other than that the drive version there and the lovely towns with their history was well worth a visit
