Wonderful time

The students were great guides when asked questions. They were really accommodating since we didn't really drink wine. Their life stories and how it touched food gave life to the experience and made us appreciate all the food selections more since we understood the passion behind the food. We ending up going to the food hall 2 more times.

Paul was our tour guide and he was spectacular. Even with a last-minute booking, he was able to set up a wonderful tour. We had samples at at least six places. It was an immersive experience. We had four cheeses with wine, oysters at the next stop, five different meats at a charcuterie stop, macaroons, chocolates, and more wine. I'm sure I'm forgetting something! We were blessed to have only the two of us on the tour because we needed an English-speaking guide. How lucky was that! We never would have been able to figure our way around inside Les Halles like Paul was able to do for us. If we are ever in Lyon again, we will take this tour again!
