The tour guy was good,...

The tour guy was good, but just Geneva is a small city, I would not go by the tour . It is easy to go around anywhere in town. The quality of this tour was great anyway.
Excellent value for an excellent trip.

The three parts of the trip made for an excellent afternoon of sightseeing on a hot day. It was well organized and the tour guide spoke excellent English. It was fun to stop along the way to take photos. I would have liked to stop at a couple more places. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Nice and quick tour of Geneva to give a general overview. Definitely add the lake cruise as part of your trip. Gabrielle was a great guide.

Nice Tour

3 1/2 hr tour by bus, tram and boat, as pricey as Geneva can be this tour is a bargain. The tram ride thru old Geneva is the winner of the tour.

I've been to Geneva many times before and wanted a tour taking in the main sites as a trip down memory lane. This was perfect for what I wanted. Driver Xavier and guide Maria were excellent. We started at the bus station and boarded a coach then toured to pass all the main buildings and parks. This included the Red Cross building, Euro-vision, United Nations, World Trade Organisation, and more as well as the Botanical Gardens, Jardin D'Anglaise and the flower clock plus a quick look at the man-made beach under construction and various views of Jet D'Eau. We transferred to the little tourist train for a ride round the old town, taking in parks, notable buildings, and St Peter's Cathedral. Back at lake level we then joined a cruise boat for a trip round the lake with lovely views in all directions and a really close look at Jet D'Eau. It was nice that this tour was mainly singles and couples with no huge tour groups taking over the tour.

I took this tour day after we arrived in Geneva. The tour lasted 3 hours and was by bus and small train . We visited most important places with commentary by our tour guide he was excellent. you then ride on a small 3 carriage train which takes you round old town Geneva with good commentary from speakers in each carriage. The final part you board a boat which makes its way up lake Geneva for 20 minutes then back to the opposite bank from where you started. You can then easily walk back to city centre or get one of the many trams or buses which are all free for tourists staying in hotels. Excellent tour.

Great Tour
, Jul 2019
Absolutely wonderful tour of the city, and the tour guide was excellent with English, He was animated and gave us great information regarding many points of interest during the tour. The train ride through 'Old Town' Geneva was fun, but the lake cruise was really the best. Thanks much for a grand experience!

We picked this because we had a very limited time in the city and figured it would be a good way to get a quick overview. The tour delivered what it promised - a bus, 'train' and boat ride. It's just that it wasn't that interesting and our time would have been better spent just walking around the old town.
City tour and boat cruise Average
, Jul 2019
Bus ride and minintrain was too rushed with infrequent stops. By the time the guide spoke about sites we had already passed them. Would have been nice to have a more structured boat cruise with a guide. But still a nice way to see a lot if you there for a short while.
