Overview

Saddle up and see Florence and Fiesole on an electric bike tour. Led by a local guide, head first to the hilltop town of Fiesole to admire panoramic views of Tuscany. Then cycle through Florence to pass top sites like Piazzale Michelangelo, the Ponte Vecchio, and the iconic Duomo, as your guide provides commentary along the way. Take a break at a Florentine wine bar to sample some snacks and local Chianti blend. The electric bike motor will start as soon as you pedal so you can enjoy a leisurely trip.
  • Electric bike tour of Florence, led by an expert local host
  • Cycle to the nearby hilltown of Fiesole to soak up picture-perfect views of Tuscany
  • Stop to visit a Tuscan farm and browse the farm shop for snacks, if you wish
  • Sample typical Chianti-region snacks and a glass of wine at a traditional wine bar
Your tour will begin in central Florence, where you meet your guide and hop on your electric bike, with a motor that starts when you pedal. After a brief safety overview, head through the city streets to the Etruscan town of Fiesole. As you ride along the scenic country roads, stop to admire stunning views of Tuscany down below.

Then, work your way back down into Florence, stopping at Piazzale Michelangelo for panoramic views of the city. Take a peek inside one of Florence’s hidden gems, the Church of San Miniato al Monte, a stunning Romanesque structure with an adjoining 15th-century monastery.

Continue into the center of the city, stopping at a local wine bar. Sip a glass of red vino from Chianti while nibbling on some Tuscan treats, like bruschetta or salami. Then hop back on your electric bike to spot some of Florence’s most iconic landmarks.

Pass the historic Ponte Vecchio and see Brunelleschi’s Dome up close as you circle the Florence Duomo. Check out the burial spot of famous Italians like Galileo and Machiavelli at the Church of Santa Croce, and immerse yourself in the bustle of Piazza della Signoria. Your guide provides commentary as you go, lending a rich context to the sites around you.

Your adventure concludes at your original departure point.

We had a wonderful family biking trip just outside of Florence with our family. We visited a beautiful farm and stopped on the way back to see the city from up high. Our tour guide was great and the eBikes made it so easy.

Whenever I travel I like to do a bike tour to cover a lot of ground & stay active. If you have an afternoon spare this tour is a relaxing & lovely way to explore Florence! This is not a challenging or strenuous tour it is very relaxing. Our guide was so lovely & informative.

Even though our tour was shortened to 2 hours from 4 hours which was disappointing and even though we had another 'glitch', our guide Alessia was fantastic in how she handled it and it actually made the tour more memorable! She made sure we had a great tour which we did. The ebikes are all that is needed to get you to the outskirts of Florence and we absolutely loved the views plus the stops for pictures and local info. We definitely recommend this tour! Thank you Alessia! Hope to take the longer tour with you the next time :) Mike and Rosa

The most wonderful part of our holiday. Ellise was a great guide our first time on electric bikes and we are now hooked. The 1/2 day tour was more than we expected even a hail storm at the end of our tour tour didn't dampen our day. Highly recommend it if you want to see the city from the hills

We absolutely loved that this bike tour took us outside of the main city and through quiet neighborhoods for some really amazing views of Florence. Alicia was our guide and she was was extremely friendly, personable, & fun. She took the time to ensure our bikes were well adjusted to fit each of us. Alicia safely navigated us through traffic at a steady pace with helpful hand signals to let us know what turns were coming up, which I really appreciated since I don't consider myself a strong bike rider. We had a total blast and highly recommend this ride if your time in Florence is limited!

Loved the E Bikes which really helped up the steep hills to Fiesole and the other lookout points . Our guide Alice was a local girl who knew everything about Florence . Farm stop was nice. Stopped for a gelato at the end because it was so hot . Would definitely recommend ,

Other side of Florence

First let me say that electric bikes are the BOMB- you can go anywhere easily. This tour was great because it takes you through the newer, residential part of Florence that you never see. You also visit the world's most gorgeous organic farm, in Fiesole, and that was eye opening and inspiring. We ended the trip at Florence's best gelato shop. Great guide, great way to see some new sights.
