“Guido the King of Florence” was a hoot. Highlight besides him was the ride to Piazzale Michelangelo, the highest point of the city, not accessible by tour busses etc. Recommended it to others in our package tour.

The golf cart tour Florence We booked this golf cart tour to show us around Florence. We had book another a week before in Rome and it was amazing. Unfortunately this one was far from that one. First of all we had to take a taxi to the golf cart place the pick up place was in the plaza we were at. The roads were closed because of a event. We didn’t have to pay for the taxi. I have to say the driver of the golf cart was not a good guide. He used a tape that was played to describe the places that we didn’t even know where we were looking at. He kept having to stop the tape because of areas that were blocked off and we could not go to. He didn’t stop at areas just drove by except the Michelangelo Square where we were able to take pics. This was nice. He drove around nice areas of houses but Really didn’t talk. I felt like it was just driving around not knowing what was being pointed out from the audio that was always being stopped. The driver was more interested in getting back to the office than given us a tour which was disappointing.Even that it was only an hr and 1/2 it was not worth the money I spent. If I could I would want my money back.

Hi Donna, I'm Enrico the person who handled your reservation by phone. On the day of your tour I contacted you because in the area of Santa Croce there was the "calcio storico fiorentino" tournament, it is one of the most important events that takes place during the year and the whole neighborhood is closed off by the police and you can't even walk through it, not just with vehicles. I personally provided to pay for your cab as our ecological vehicle could not reach you at the established meeting point. I acted the same way for all the tours that took place that day. As for the comparison with the Rome tours, they are simply 2 different services. Even in our catalog there is a tour equivalent to the tour you did in Rome and it has a different price than the one you bought. You have purchased the tour with audio guide and not the tour with guide. Our guides and escorts are highly qualified and are passionate about their work, the tours are designed on a pre-established route with standard durations. I am sorry that you were not comfortable and that the tour did not meet your expectations.

Our guide was fantastic. A member of a long-standing Florentine family, he brought Florence to life from a historical, political, artistic and architectural perspective.
