Wonderful trip with our lovely host Romain. He was extremely knowledgeable about the appellations and climates, the winemaking process, and the history of the area. Truly a memorable experience that left our couples group of 4 feeling much more informed about Burgundy wine. Only regret is I would have loved a private tour for the four of us, just for passenger comfort. Thanks!

Possibly the best wine tour we’ve been on. Leonie was an incredibly knowledgeable and personable guide. The tour was a perfect mix of time in the vineyard and time in a tasting room. Great wines at both winery stops. We’ll definitely be bringing friends and family back for this tour.

We had a wonderful trip! We enjoyed trips to a vineyard as well as two tasting sites. The wines included several 1er Cru and Grand Cru selections. Our guide, Romain, was very knowledgeable and professional, as well as friendly. His English was perfect. I would highly recommend this tour and especially our guide!

We had a very nice day with our guide, Romain, and our fellow English speaking tourists. Romain was very engaging and quite knowledgeable.
It was quite a thrill to see the plow horse tilling the soil at Rimanee Conti. We were able to taste at 2 other domaines in Burgundy. All in all, a wonderful day in wine country!

This tour was really fun and a great way to see Beaune. Paul was a very knowledgeable sommelier that was able to answer all of our questions about the wine making process, the area, and the history. I would recommend this trip for people looking for an informative experience rather than one with tons of drinking. We loved our experience and feel so much more informed before!

Our guide was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable on the local Burgundy wine region. She brought us to a winery, drove us through some of the area and described the different wines from the various plots, and finished the tour with a wine tasting room.

Great tour! Jereme - the guide, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and funny. The stop for in Beaune was nice as it broke up the day and is good spot for lunch. It’s a must tour for wine lovers!

It was a fun day exploring a new region of France. Driving through the vineyards was amazing! Our tour guide Elsa was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we appreciated learning from her about the regional wines. The charming town of Beaune was a highlight!

We had a fantastic full day tour with Authentica in October, just as the leaves on the vines were turning orange/red. The views on the Grand Crus route were absolutely stunning.
The guide Leonie was also very friendly and knowledgable about Burgundy wines and the region.
We got to do 3 tastings in total (about 6 or 7 wines at each tasting). All wines were excellent!
One of the other people in the group had a birthday surprise organised as well. Think this tour would be great for a special occasion or birthday treat for a wine lover.

This is a great tour for anyone interested in learning more about the wines of Burgundy. Whether you’re just beginning your exploration of these wines or have some knowledge, you will definitely learn something. Ask for Thomas. With his knowledge of the wines and his wonderful sense of humor, you will really enjoy the afternoon. And, if you’re staying in the region, be sure to ask Thomas for restaurant recommendations; we did and we had a great dining experience. Take this tour ~ you’ll be glad you did.

Super knowledgeable, kind, and entertaining tour guide (Antonin). Really enjoyed trying over 12 different wines and getting to see a bit of Beaune for lunch, as well as seeing many different parts of the burgundy region. I highly recommend this tour!

Our tour to Beaune and vineyards with a wine tasting was wonderful. I would do it again tomorrow if it was possible. I learned so much about the history of Beaune and the wine tastings were wonderful. I didn’t want this day to end.

My husband and I absolutely loved this tour! I was looking for a reasonable tour of Burgundy to do, and this tour had everything we were looking to do while in Burgundy. We had the chance to experience a private wine tasting in a private wine club cave. There was also getting to be among the vines and see the land up close. It was nice to have time in Beaune, which allowed us to get a nice lunch and try more wine at a nearby market. And we were able to try wine at a winery that has now become one of our favorites. Because Burgundy is such a challenging region to do tours/tastings, I would highly suggest booking this tour to make the most of your time and experience here.

Our tour was on 16th October 2019 and our guide was amazing he new wine making. He was passionate about the region and so he should be. This was a spectacular wine region to visit. Beautiful and striking. You begin to appreciate the work that goes into producing these wines.
