We had the most amazing time cooking, laughing, and eating with LUCA and our two other new friends. We walked up the stairs to an amazing view of Riomaggiore and were greeted by Hector (Luca's Amazing PUP). We then met Luca the most unassuming and humble restauranteur and chef in Italy. He welcomed us to his home and prepared the cooking area while we got settled. We then commenced preparing two types of pasta and tiramisu. Unlike other cooking classes, we also got history lessons like the origins of tiramisu and the regional variations. LUCA expertly teaches you how to feel the dough so you know how to make adjustments. Skills I will definitely take back to the states and into my kitchen. It was really a once in lifetime experience and I would recommend it to anyone in Riomaggorie.

This class is right in the heart of Riomaggiore and in our host Lucca's house. Make sure Lucca has your contact info so he can send you directions, it is a little confusing. I cant say enough about Lucca, he was very knowledgeable but he was a pleasant person to be around and made the class entertaining. Made gnocchi, pasta and tiramisu. All three where wonderful but I would say that was the best gnocchi and tiramisu I had in Italy. So delicious

This has become one of my favorite memories in Italy. Luca from the beginning was very friendly and welcoming into his home. He had a great personality and made the experience so much better. We created 2 sauces to pair with 2 pastas (gnocchi with a walnut sauce and trofie with pesto) and tiramisu. I was genuinely so impressed with the recipes. Once you have prepared everything, Luca cooks it while we are sitting on the terrace with a bottle of local wine provided. The dishes were absolutely delicious, better than if we went out for dinner. This experience had so much value. Thank you Luca!!
