Itinerary
Pass By:
La Croisette
After being picked-up at your hotel by our English-speaking tour guide, you will head towards the motorway (speedway) and shoot off from there to the the scintillating town of Cannes. Explore the city and discover its magnificent palaces along the Croisette boulevard : the Carlton, the Majestic or the Martinez where the stars are staying during the Film Festival.
Stop At:
Antibes
Once the high-end boutiques and splendid hotels of Cannes are left behind, you will take the coastal road to Antibes which traverses the summer resorts of Golfe-Juan and Juan-les-Pins, both steeped in history as well as ongoing events. You’ve now reached Antibes, or Antipolis as the Greeks had first named it. A town which played the role of sentinel for the country during many centuries, hence its ramparts circling the Old Town. There you might consider strolling along those XVth century walls and Grimaldi Castle - nowadays the Picasso museum. Then your guide will drive you out of the Old Town. Once past Antibes’ large marina and its ‘Billionaires’ Quay‘, you will proceed along the coastline until you reach the town of Villeneuve-Loubet with its extraordinary ‘Marina of the Bay of Angels’ from where you will go inland towards your last site visit.

MARC was FANTASTIC. He catered our tour to our wants and needs. Our ship was delayed and our tendering late but he was smiling and waiting patiently. Full of past and current information and history, MARC from Livin it UP tour company provided a most memorable, individual, and unique experience for a well-travel experienced and physically challenged tourist!

Good Tour

This was an excellent tour with driver/guide (Chen) a very happy person willing to assist wherever possible. We were concerned about getting on the tour as our ship had issues with tender process and while we docked at 10am we did not get ashore until just before pick up time of 2pm. Chen was prepared to wait noting we had issues and we had to wait for some of the people. Price was about half the ships cost and with a small group we saw more and had more interaction. Highly recommend.

My sister and I took this tour while on a Norwegian Cruise . We easily located our guide, Jairo, at the port . We were pleasantly surprised to find only 2 others joining us so it made for a very personal tour . Jairo was very personable and very knowledgeable of the area . We learned so much information. Out stops were all wonderful and we got sufficient time to explore the area we were in. Jairo always pointed out points of interest and suggested things to see and try on our stops . He efficiently used the time we had and had us back at port at the expected time. We would highly recommend Viator and this tour in particular !

We had the wonderful tour with Maria. She was great! Maria was very informative and very nice. The tour began in Cannes, and we went from there to St. Paul De Vences, and then to Antibes. Both were very beautiful and interesting. Maria then drove us back to Cannes along the coast and the scenery was spectacular. It was a great afternoon and a great guide.

Our tour guide's name was sabi, I believe we were a group of 7 people, it was from 8-2 p tour , this lady initally she said as she left cannes she will give us more time as we come back we stopped at the Cannes beach for 10 mins then she drove us around in her car of course telling us a little info or intro to the place, then the whole time we just sat in the car & just looked outside and moreover she rushed and said that she has a pick up at 2 so she dropped us at the port, she just briefly halted at the Red carpet area in CANNES. this trip was big Rip off compared to all the other tours that I booked, when asked to stop for pics , her answer was negative.

Lovely Tour

We truly enjoyed our shore excursion. Cannes, Antibes and especially St Paul de Vence were beautiful. The main problem is we really didn’t have enough time to experience the quaint medieval artist town of Saint Paul. If we were to do this again I think we would take a tour just to Saint Paul de Vence. There is just so much to see and appreciate there our quick little trip didn’t give us enough time for anything more than a quick run through. We bought lunch in Cannes and walked about the town, it was very nice. I would cut Antibes out to spend more time in the other two parts of the tour.

St Paul de Vence was spectacular.... and so was the ride along the coast to Antibes

We've been a few times in Cannes so the option to see some of the surrounding places like Antibes and St Paul de Vence was the attraction. We had a nice driver who served as a guide; he provided good information but wasn't talking too much. You know how it can be a bit annoying if the guides go on and on…this was not the case. The drive from Cannes to Antibes was along the sea which was nice. We stopped in Antibes for a stroll and an ice cream - a must in the summer time. After that we left the sea and headed to Provence; the green hills were beautiful. We ended in St Paul de Vence which is perched on the top of a rock mountain with spectacular views of the Alps and the sea. We had 45-50 min to walk around and have a beer to cool down. All in all the venture was worth the time spent so bon voyage and enjoy!
