We were picked up at the hotel and, despite the bad weather, we were able to walk under the arcades of Bern without any umbrella. Mike was our tour guide and he told us a lot of everyday-things about Bern. We really enjoyed getting a few insights away from the main road. All in all a leisurely walk.

It's a very expensive 'tour' and Bern really isn't that big. Our guide was knowledgeable and very nice, but it was not worth the price. Yes we learned some things, we didn't know, but for the price, it was a horrible investment.

Dominique was perfectly delightful and we walked around the old town area for at least 3 1/2 hours. We took a much needed break at a wonderfull coffee house. She was very knowledgeable about the area and her English was exceptionally good! The weather was not ideal, but we made the best of our time together.
