Take an in-depth exploration of the colorful Parc Güell, one of Barcelona's most famous landmarks, during this tour with a local guide. This architectural marvel, designed by renowned Catalonian builder Antoni Gaudí, is a must-see for any Barcelona visitor or design-lover.

Make your own way to the entrance of Parc Güell to start your exploration. Check with your tour operator at the time of booking to confirm the exact location and time of your meeting. Then follow your guide inside this fascinating public space to begin your visit. This one-of-a-kind architectural gem was built by the famed Antoni Gaudí in the early 1900s, based on a commission from Count Güell, a Barcelona local who hoped to create a residential estate for local families. After plans for the on-site housing were scrapped, the area was transformed into a public park for use by Barcelona residents.

Enter the park via the site's main staircase, which is dominated by a rainbow-colored lizard adorned with an intricate mosaic of tiles. This detailed style of tile work is known as trencadís, and is considered one of the characteristic design techniques of Barcelona. As you continue further inside the park, stop at its main square, which is flanked by the wavy profile of the snake-like trencadís-covered bench.

Step below the square, and see the park's lower court. This intricately-designed area is supported by a phalanx of 86 Doric columns, along with walking paths and viaducts set on sloping columns. Many have remarked on the symbiotic relationship between Gaudí's designs and the natural world, a relationship which is evident in the tree-like design of the lower court's columns.

Finish your visit to this amazing park at the small on-site house, which Gaudí once-occupied for a short stay. The house has been transformed into a museum, including a variety of furniture created by this genius craftsman.
Stop At:
Parc Guell
Start the tour check in in at the Gaudí Experience office in Larrard Street number 41. Remember you must check in at least 15 minutes before the starting time of the activity. An experienced guide will pick you up after check in and you will enter the venue together. As one of the most important works by Antoni Gaudí, the park is set in a unique area with amazing views over the city. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984, discover how the original project of Gaudí changed to build the current public park. Walk around the Monumental area of the park following your guide. Wander at Gaudí’s mastery and see how he created a naturalistic and organic style, achieving a perfect fusion between architecture and nature. Feel the broken tile mosaics he created and discover all the hidden spots and secrets the park keeps.

Breathtaking view over Barcelona
, Dec 2021
Guelli park is amazing ,with breathtaking view. Our only mistake was that we took bilingual guide. She was professional, very strict and not polite.
Very mediocre tour
, Jul 2021
This tour was just average. It was very short and our guide was simply okay. I don't think it was worth the extra money above and beyond the price of the ticket. You can get yourself an audio guide or an app with the explanation and save yourself some $$. Now, Park Guell is sort of difficult to get to by metro. If you indeed end up taking the subway, be prepare to walk uphill (and I mean uphill) for quite some distance. It's better to hail a cab once you're out of the subway and for 4 euros it'll take you up to the travel agency where the tour starts (about three blocks from the entrance to the park), if, of course, you decide to take this tour.

Excellent tour guide very knowledgeable and she explained a lot and gave us enough time to enjoy the park. When the tour was finished we were able to see more. Worth the tour you see abs understand more.
A very good option to visit Parc Guel

Our guide from Julia travels, Marc, was very knowledgeable and offered us a lot of interesting an useful information. All over it was a good experience.

Enjoyed the tour a lot. Weather was great for February, learned a lot about Gaudi. The only thing we were disappointed in was that the tour guide had to use 2 other languages for a few people. This was portrayed as an English speaking tour. It just stopped the flow of the commentary.
Park Guell was amazing!

Park Güell did not disappoint

Carlos was a good, interesting and informative guide. Park Güell is a great place to visit. We went on a Sunday so it was crowded but we had nice weather.
The Park

It was good time and we met some fun people! Our guide was very knowledgeable and she knew the Park well!
Good tour
, Nov 2019
We liked the tour well enough, but don't feel it was really necessary. Our tour guide (I don't recall her name) was very nice and clearly knew a lot about Gaudi and the park. As for whether or not we'd recommend the tour, we probably would not. It depends on what you want to get out of your visit to Park Guell. The "reserved" area is not really worth paying extra to see. We did not go into the museum (I think that was another charge). BUT, there is much to see and it would be a lovely place to have a picnic lunch.
An OK tour

This tour was a convenient way to experience Parc Guell. The guide was good and spoke clearly. Despite the info saying it would be conducted in two languages, the tour was conducted only in English. As per the tour explanation, there is walking and climbing involved so people with mobility issues might have a difficult time. Someone in our group did have issues and ended up waiting at the bottom, which is a waste of money for that person. The park itself is interesting with beautiful examples of Gaudi's work. Because it was off season, the park was not that crowded and we could get close to the viewpoint to see the city and take pics and also to get a good shot of the famous sculptures. While it was beneficial to have the guide's commentary, I wouldn't join a tour again for this destination. A good guide book and exploring at leisure would be enough.
