Cassis and Marselle
, Nov 2019
This tour was very good, we wish we had more time in Cassis, made calanques cruise but the short one and after the cruise the only time we had - to eat a sandwich. Our tour guide didn’t talk a lot but covered everything, including walking tour in Marselle. We were completely satisfied.
What a fun day!

Cassis is a place not to be missed if you are traveling in this part of France. I highly recommend taking the tour to see the calanques and walking around the town. The town is super-crowded, so expect that, but enjoy walking along the quaint streets and enjoy a nice lunch with a view of the port. The visit to Marseille was very memorable. We didn't go into the waterfront museums, but we did roam the fortress and some of the nearby neighborhoods to get some of the flavor of the city. It is undergoing quite a transformation and we had a chance to see the beauty of it. Highly recommend this day-long tour.

Thank you so much! We were delighted to meet you and hope to see you again in Provence.
Amazing day in both Cassis and Marseille

The entire trip went smoothly. There was some waiting in Cassis, as the boat trip ticket office had closed and wasn't open again until 1:30. The boat ride was nice and we saw quite a bit of scenery during the 50 minute - 1 hour trip. The views from above the fishing/marina town was amazing. The day was clear, warm and the skies were deep blue. The trip to Marseille is a quick drive and we were able to spend time driving through town, a stop at the Basilica, and a walk around the water front near the port. Laura was a great driver/guide and was helpful and gave us plenty of information.

The tour was terrific. Our guide was very informative and made the tour that bit more special. One of the clients did not follow Natalie's clear instruction and did not show up at the organised rendezvous point. 5 of the 6 clients were there on time and clearly understood the instructions. Cassis was beautiful and Marseille was magnificent. Would recommend the tour to anyone. 10/10.

A great tour, with Silvia, a lively, personable, and knowledgable guide. There were options in Cassis, which she clearly outlined, making it easier to decide. In Marseilles, she kept her eyes open for a shop with herbs de Provence, requested by someone in the group. She also took the group on a quick stop for black vanilla ice cream, requested by another. The timing was excellent, starting pre-lunch and ending back in Aix in time to relax a bit before dinner.
