Then, you'll return to their home, warm up with an Italian Aperitivo and enjoy the class. You'll learn how to make one iconic Pasta type, typical of the city you are visiting, and the famous Tiramisu. After the class, you will enjoy everything you've prepared with local wines. This experience is the perfect choice if you want to encounter the real Italian regional gastronomy through genuine connections, food, and friendship.
In Piedmont, between the southern banks of the River Po and the Apennine Mountains of the Liguria Region, the hills of the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato territories are located, covered with their legendary vineyards, making them an UNESCO Wolrd Heritage site since 2014. But wine is not the only treasure kept in these lands. White and black truffles spontaneously grow in the woods around the city of Alba and, of course, they have a leading role in local cuisine! On this tour, enjoy a guided walking tour in the city of Alba, discovering the Cathedral and the historical center. Then have an introduction to Alba's Truffles' and some time to shop in a traditional deli store. After lunch in a typical trattoria (tavern), you are transferred to Barolo where you will have a guided visit of the Wine Museum. Then head to a close-by winery and visit with the winegrowers of the cellars and the vineyards. Enjoy a wine tasting accompanied by appetizers.
