Barcelona Aquarium (L'Aquàrium Barcelona)

Maremagnum, Port Vell, Barcelona

The Basics

A highlight of the Barcelona Aquarium is the Oceanarium, a 1-million-gallon (3.8-million-liter) tank housing sunfish, moray eels, rays, two types of sharks, and more. Pass through an underwater glass tunnel to see these creatures from all angles. Planeta Aqua, on the second floor, houses guest-favorite Humboldt penguins.

If you’re pressed for time, opt for a skip-the-line ticket to the aquarium. If you’re more budget-minded, get discounted admission to the aquarium and numerous other attractions with the Barcelona Card.

Awesome
Wonderful ride, this aquarium is one of the best I've been to. I hope one day I can get in to see the sharks in the water.

Underrated aquarium, skip the line debatable

I don’t think you need skip the line, unless it’s a really busy day or something. The Aquarium itself is pretty empty, which is both ashamed it’s very good, but also good in a way, as you can relax, take your time and enjoy. Area for children to play, fantastic tank and water tunnel, with seating to relax and enjoy, the environmental message is there but very subtle and not preachy, which is nice, great variety of fish, everything is well presented. Lots of feeding times, do not miss those!

I usually don’t leave any review, but I have to do right now! Because I met some Spanish people who cut the line and imitated my English. They were really RUDE! This voucher is really great. Be careful with Spanish people who try cutting the line!

Room and staff service at the senator...

Barcelona Card. 72,96 or 120h.
Room and staff service at the senator spa hotel were very good. Friendly and attentive service at reception. Easy walk to Collblanc Metro with chance to pick up light breakfast en route out and vino/ tit-bits in the Spar shop near the Metro on the way back Barcelona itself needs no personal review.
